Testimonials

Angela’s expertise in the recovery field is unparalleled.  She was kind but firm with her guidance.  Her encouragement and knowledge set me on the right track to live a sober life when I completed treatment.”

“I am forever grateful for Angela Coleman. While I was in St. Louis Drug Court in 2013, I was blessed to have Angela as a counselor. She has a special way of communicating and working with the patients that just makes you feel comfortable. Angela helped me so much in my early recovery.  Now I am 10 years clean.  Thank you for your support and guidance”.

“I love Ms. Angela.  When I first entered treatment, I did not take it seriously.  My plan was to go to treatment and continue to get High.  When I met Ms. Angela, she appeared cool, so I continued getting high.  I came to one of our sessions and reported that I had been using drugs again.  She looked me straight in my face and told me if I came to treatment one more time high, I was going to prison, and I believed her.  I stopped using drugs because I was afraid to go to prison but, later, stayed clean because I started to love being clean.  She showed me so much care and concern.  She was loyal and encouraged me all the way.  I now have 9 years clean and sober, and Ms. Angela still helps me whenever I need her.  Thank you so much for sharing the gift that God gave you with me.”

“I was given Ms. Angela’s number by another person in the fellowship because I was looking for a sponsor.  When I first called her, I did not know what to say, so I just asked her to sponsor me.  And she told me to pray about it and call her the next day.  I did what she said, and she said she would sponsor me.  When I talked to her the first time, I lied and told her that I had a year clean, but I later told her the truth and she was very understanding.  She did not judge me.  She is very honest and blunt, but I know that she loves me and wants what’s best for me.  I am very honest with her now, and I am so glad I asked her to be my sponsor.”

“When I first met Angela, it was Halloween 2018; I was 38 years old, two weeks postpartum, and of course, arrogant! This woman, Angela, took me from complete denial that transitioned into absolute shame and disgust for myself. Angela then spent weeks loving me and building me back up all while holding me accountable. Five years clean and sober and I STILL hear her words “Go to meetings, get a sponsor, work the steps!” There are no words that can convey my gratitude to Angela.

Thank you, Ang, Thank you!”

Angela, all I can say is you did it!

You have accomplished one of your greatest goals of being a business owner through your greatest passion, which is recovery! You are definitely a big inspiration. You lead with compassion and empathy, and you are very strong and knowledgeable. You have brought a lot of people off the streets and placed them in places to receive the best care. You are very passionate about what you do, and this business proves it all! It's been a long road, but this new journey will be very rewarding! Congratulations

Dear Mom,

Your success and accomplishments have superseded anything that I could ever imagine.  I can remember, when you were in your addiction, how embarrassed I was of you.  I felt so lost, alone, angry, and disappointed.  I wanted to hate you, but my Granny would not let me.  I just learned to adjust to my pain, especially when you would get clean for a little and then go back out again.  Each time you did that, you took a piece of me with you.

Who would have thought that one day you would finally say enough is enough?  I am so proud to call you Mom.  You have accomplished so many things in these past years of your recovery.  I love the kind of friend you are to me and the grandmother you are to, your grandkids.  I would not change or give you back in the world.  Continue to let God use you.

Love Your Daughter.
